Lyrics
I love music. It's very important to me that at some point in my day I listen to some. Music can change your mood good or bad, help you exercise and understand you. Music can be a form of therapy and a great way to express yourself through writing. One thing I am really liking right now is the female positive/empowering lyrics going around.
What lyrics speak to you?
The following are three of my favorite lyrics: (not in any particular order)
Meghan Trainor-All About the Bass
I see the magazine workin' that Photoshop
We know that shit ain't real
C'mon now, make it stop
If you got beauty, beauty, just raise 'em up
'Cause every inch of you is perfect
From the bottom to the top
Katy Perry- Roar
Now I’m floating like a butterfly
Stinging like a bee I earned my stripes
I went from zero, to my own hero
Colbie Caillat- Try
You don't have to try so hard
You don't have to give it all away
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up
You don't have to change a single thing
