Anagrams (originally posted 10/8/14)

An anagram is a way to rearrange letters in a word or sentence to make different word/sentence using all of the original letters just once. For example two/tow; study/dusty; and finally relay/early.

The other day J.K. Rowling posted a tweet on Twitter:

J.K. Rowling @jk_rowling
Newt only meant to stay in New York for a few hours. Circumstances ensured that he remained... for the length of a movie, anyway. X

Many people tried to figure out the answer. Only one did :-) Emily Strong—a PhD student at the University of Sheffield
“Newt Scamander only meant to stay in New York for a few hours.”

And of course now I must torment the people in my life with anagrams as a way to text :-)

I love Harry Potter and hope all this hoopla means more is coming.
allay gild riff horn!
